No Churn Malted Chocolate Ice Cream
No Churn Malted Chocolate Ice Cream
Makes: 4 cups Prep Time: 10 min Freeze Time: 3 hours
Easy and so delicious! Old-Fashioned malted chocolate flavor in a creamy no churn ice cream you can whip up in minutes.
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
4 oz Old-Fashioned Malted Chocolate Sauce
8 oz sweetened condensed milk*
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
In a bowl, combine Malted Chocolate Sauce, condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Set aside.
Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Whip the heavy cream right after it comes out of the refrigerator. Do not let it sit at room temperature. You can also chill the whisk/bowl in the refrigerator ahead of time if you’d like.
Gently fold the condensed milk mixture to the heavy cream in 1/3 at a time, being careful not to ruin the peaks.
Spoon ice cream into 9" x 5" loaf pan and place in freezer.
Allow ice cream to set for 3 hours.
Enjoy! Try it drizzled with extra Malted Chocolate Sauce, and topped with whipped cream.
*Most sweetened condensed milk has corn syrup added to it. You can find condensed milk that is sweetened with only pure sugar at most natural foods stores, including Whole Foods. We use no corn syrup in our sauces, and prefer to keep our recipes that way as well!
