Heirloom Fruit & Nut Cake
Heirloom Fruit & Nut Cake is a tart cake chock-full of apricots, pecans and dates held together by a dark honey and brown sugar batter. Flavored with our own blend of fragrant spices, it is truly a delight! Only the finest ingredients are used in our Fruit & Nut Cake- no preservatives, no citron and no candied fruit. Often described as a pecan cake, this is a nutty, dense cake.
The three pound ring is sealed in cellophane and packaged in a clear gift box with gold base and plum ribbon. The 1 1/2 lb loaf is packaged in a white gift box. We love this no alcohol fruitcake- it's truly the best!
Loaf cake measures approx. 7 1/4 x 3 1/2" and serves 6-8 people. The large round cake measures approx. 7 1/2" in diameter and serves 10-12 people.
Fruit & Nut Cake: Apricots, Pecans, Eggs, Unbleached Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Butter (Cream, Salt), Dates, Brown Sugar, Raisins, Honey, Apricot Juice, Cream, Lemon Juice, Salt, Spices. Contains: Milk, Wheat, Egg, Tree Nuts.
Chill before slicing, use a sharp knife to cut 1/2 inch pieces. This cake is wonderful served with our Cognac Hard Sauce. Our Fruit & Nut Cake freezes beautifully.
